What is a Secret Keeper Girl? She’s a girl who loves Jesus. She’s a girl who chooses her friends wisely, but is a friend to everyone. She doesn’t define her beauty by culture’s standards, but by God’s standards. She knows the secrets of modesty but she never fails to look super cute. And she’s a girl who knows she is God’s princess, but uses her role to serve others. While she has the secrets of Jesus in her heart–she is also ready and willing to share those  with others!

The modern fashion industry is marketing more mature clothing to younger and younger audiences. According to a task force report by the American Psychological Association, this hyper-sexualization increases the risk of eating disorders, depression and body image issues in girls. Additionally, The Medical Institute for Sexual Health has determined that girls (and boys) who “look older than they are” are at risk of an earlier sexual debut. It is clear that the thong underwear and padded push-up bras advertised to tweens are not helping them to understand their beauty and value. Secret Keeper Girl encourages girls to dress in ways that are age-appropriate in an effort to protect their hearts and prepare them for the pressures of their teen years. Modesty is not about covering up our bodies, but revealing our dignity. We believe that it’s entirely possible to be both modest and super stylish at the same time!

Since starting a Bible study for her tween daughter and her friends in 2005, Dannah Gresh (link?) has written over 25 books that help support you in raising your tween girl! Although some of our merchandise is only available at our LIVE events, all other SKG products can be found at our online bookstore.

While God has placed a calling on Dannah’s heart to minister to tween girls, she is starting to develop content for your boys too! It’s Great to be a Guy is a devotional for tween boys and Six Ways to Keep the Good in Your Boy is a parenting guide for raising tween boys. You can also check out Bob Gresh’s book on sexual integrity for teen guys, Who Moved the Goalpost?

We’re primarily a mother-daughter ministry, but also believe that anyone building into a little girl’s life is going to make a lasting impact! While much of our content is geared toward one-on-one conversation, we love any opportunity to encourage tween hearts. So if you want to come to an event or work through the 8 great dates as a group we salute you! To do it as a group, you just need one of the 8 Great Dates books and a copy of the Girl Gab section for each of the girls (or you can purchase a diary for each of the girls if you’d like). Then, you get to act as “mom” and plan all eight of the dates. You’ll have a blast! (Some of the moms may even be begging to join you once you’ve done all the work!)

Secret Keeper Girl Events are specifically targeted for tween girls ages 7-12, but girls younger than seven will certainly enjoy most of the show! Although they might miss little bits of the teaching, there are key moments for you to get to interact with your daughter. On that note: we strongly encourage moms, dads, grandmas, and any role model who wants to impact a little girls’ life to come along and see what these events are all about.

If you have a teen, you should check out our Pure Freedom events. Although these events don’t travel as much, your daughter will learn so much more!

The show runs 2 1/2 hours with a 15-20 minute intermission.

Yes, you will need to purchase tickets for each person attending.

We will have a master list of all attendees and can check you in as long as you have purchased tickets.

To keep the events appropriate for tweens – we do NOT address or use the word sex in a live Secret Keeper Girl event. We do teach your girls the secrets of their beauty and how God has created them to glorify HIM.

We’re excited to have any adult interested in mentoring their girl’s relationship with Christ grow! That means a mom, dad, aunt grandma, friend, etc!

Sure- kids 3 and under are welcome and free.

All Secret Keeper girl events just call for casual wear, but we want you to have fun! Some moms choose to dress with the tour theme (we loved seeing all our Crazy Hair and Pajama Party moms and daughters go all out in the past!), but wear what makes you comfortable. This season, our team will be wearing lots of purple to celebrate the Purple Party Tour!

Most of our resources will be available for sale as well as some fun merchandise event specific, so it’s up to you!

Check out our tour page for our listing, or if you’re interested in booking a show contact us!

We try to have photos from our events posted on our Facebook Page, no later than 48 hours after an event. Each event host/promoter provides us with the photos, so be patient! Sometimes it take a little longer for us to obtain them.

A video of our Pajama Party tour is available for purchase here.

We try to come to areas every 18 months, but you can always find the latest on our tour page.

We’re always looking for new partners, so if you don’t see a Secret Keeper Girl event coming to your area email info@secretkeepergirl.com. To help us know a little about your church please send us your

“And so I insist—and God backs me up on this—that there be no going along with the crowd, the empty-headed, mindless crowd. They’ve refused for so long to deal with God that they’ve lost touch not only with God but with reality itself.” (MSG)

“Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.” (NLT)

“Be kind to one another.” (ESV)

“He who walks with the wise grows wise.” NIV

“You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.” ESV

“I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothing. For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.”NLT

“If I acted crazy, I did it for God; … Christ’s love has moved me to such extremes. His love has the first and last word in everything we do.” MSG

“He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever. He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.” NLT

“The wages of sin is death, But the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord!” ESV
